Question of the day - May, 26, 2004

If Osama Bin Laden released an announcement that said, "If George Bush gets re-elected than we promise to increase our attacks", would that get more people to vote for Bush or against him? One the one side, if we do what Osama wants that just seems like pandering to the terrorist, but of the other side, wouldn’t less attacks be a good thing. The answer will be posted next week.

THE answer. I think Spain is an interesting case study. Bomb goes off and they kick the leader out.

I would say, if he SAYS he will bomb, Bush gets votes. If he actually bombs, then Kerry gets them.

how close was the spanish election before the bombs? Maybe the results would have been the same? I'm too lazy to look it up and by the way if i'm too lazy to look it up think of all the gazillions of american citizens who are too busy with their jobs and kids and lack of insurance and whatnot to bother with the lying theives we put in office and wonder if democracy is working.... yes yes, i know... i should use paragraphs and commas and stuff...

I believe the attack in Spain was very close to the election, within a week. And according to the poles, it dramatically changed the swing of the electorate.
