Final Papers, Ladybugs, and Mr. No.

It has been so very long and so much has happened. Last week I was in San Francisco for a work conference, but more importantly, I got to see my brother and his family. I had such a wonderful time with all of them, I miss them all so very much. Ethan, the oldest of my brother’s three boys, is just the cutest, most sincere little boy ever. We played games and it was ever so fun. When I had to leave, he gave me two presents. The first were some of his favorite legos, which he said in his little sad voice, “here, you take these, and when you come back, you bring them and give them to me, and than when you leave, you take them again, so that they (or him) are always with me (they live on my dresser, next to my clock so I see them everyday). His second gift, a paper ladybug deserves its own post, which I will write when possible. Jared, the middle boy, was just a cute. He is a little zen, and his mind operates at some kind of higher philosophical plane. I worked with him to turn his “power on No” (like to say no a lot) into a superhero power. He will be Mr. No, Super Goalie, and whenever someone tries to score and goal, he’ll deny them. No no no. Matthew, the baby, is just a smiling, happy blob of happiness. Love.

When I got back, I finished my last, yes my last, school paper. No more school! Woo-hoo! After two long, expensive years, it is all over. I have lots of opinions about the experience, but I’ll focus on the something positive. I’m done. Hooray again. And for all my grade school teachers who read this, I want to let you know that it wasn’t my fault I got bad grades, I just didn’t want to peak too early. I am proud that I kept working hard in the program, even after I became jaded, and should manage to finish with a 3.8-4.0 GPA (depending on my last classes and rounding).

And finally, I’ve uploaded Molly’s first website. Check it out (I’ll be adding pictures and some more functionality over the coming weeks). http://molly.kokopop.com
